ECDL Base: Word Processing, current version

Word Processing is the sixth module of the ECDL course. This module will help you to be able to accomplish everyday tasks associated with creating, formatting and finishing small sized word processing documents ready for distribution. Once the course is completed, you will become competent in duplicating or moving text within and between documents and with using some of the features associated with word processing applications such as creating standard tables, using pictures and images within a document and using mail merge tools.

    • 6.3 Working with Objects

      • b. Pictures and Text Wrapping
      • c. Formatting Pictures
      • d. Background Removal
      • e. Shapes

For this module we say that it will take around 6 hours to finish. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly you can study and absorb the material. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you like, and there is no limit on how long you can take to do the course. Its up to you!
